My passion is painting ... in oils, acrylics, and watercolors. In my world, painting, designing, creating, gardening, reading, and studying master artists, are second only to spending time with family and friends.

One of my most treasured memories is of watching my "big brother" paint in oils. He would set up large canvases on the porch and paint. I would sit, very quietly, on a little stool and watch him. I was only about 4 years old, but I vividly remember the smell of the oil paint and the feeling that something magical was happening. The music that you hear is "Stardust" and that is part of the memory too!

I am a Royal Ambassador for Royal & Langnickel Brush Company. As such, my teaching travels are partially reimbursed, to qualifying groups, by Royal & Langnickel. You may contact me for more information.

I have many years of study in both Commercial Art and Fine Art. In addition, I attended the University of New Orleans majoring in Sociology and Criminology. I plan to always be learning and studying many things, especially the world of art and creativity.
